Research and planning: Casting/props/costumes.

Casting: We are going to use the original artist to perform in our video. We know her personally and she lives locally so it will be the best option. Also, it looks a lot more authentic when the original artist performs their own song.

There is a possibility of using some other extras, such as a male figure or people to act as friends in the video. I'm in the process of creating a rough storyboard, so this will help me determine when I need to use the extras.

Props: There aren't many props that we need in the video, but the most important one will be a guitar, as it will be used in a lot of the shots.

Costumes: There isn't any specific costume theme needed, as just casual clothes will give it more of an authentic/home-made look.
